Origin of Roman Catholic Church – 4

The Gospel of John records that, Blood was gushing out of his wounds. (John 19: 35) Nicodemus brought myrrh and aloes (John 19:39). These healing plants, particularly aloe plants, are considered medicinal and applied to wounds. Since blood was coming from the wounds as nails piercing him were removed, his heart was beating and that Jesus was alive but only unconscious. Jesus had become unconscious due to the wounds inflicted upon him by the nails. After he had awoken from swoon, Jesus bared his wounds to Thomas (John 20:25-7), showing he did not have a supernatural, resurrecting body, but an ordinary human body. He was also seen in the flesh by a large number of his followers, baring the same wounds that he had suffered from his ordeal on the Cross. (Luke 24:38, 41)
24:38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?
24:39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
24:40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet.
24:41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
After his wounds had sufficiently healed Jesus left the place of Cross and met some of his disciples and had his food with them and walked on foot from Jerusalem to Galilee (Luke 24:50)
Roman soldiers did not trouble the followers of Jesus as they had come to know that this man and his followers is no trouble to the ruler. In fact, General Pilate wanted them to be as far away as possible from his realm and so going of Jesus and his followers from Jerusalem was actually encouraged by them. High priests from Jew community were also under the impression that Jesus has died on Cross. A rich businessman from Jewish community from Arimathea, named Joseph, who was favoring Jesus had built a decoy of tomb to show to elders of Jewish community that body of Jesus is entombed (Mathew 27:57,61).
27:57 As evening approached; there comes a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus.
27:58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him.
27:59 Joseph took the body of unconscious Jesus, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
27:60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away.
27:61 Mary Magdalene (the only woman Apostle of Jesus) and the other Mary (not mother of Jesus) were sitting there opposite the tomb.
There is no mention of actual death of Jesus in this documentation. By crucification person does not die immediately it takes at least 40 days for the crucified person to die; that means body of Jesus was removed immediately (according to one record within three hours of crucification) after crucification from the cross by soldiers of Pilate and probably Jesus was unconscious and not dead when his body was removed. Rich man Joseph from Arimathea had built a special tomb so that Jesus can remain alive after he regains his consciousness. All care was taken to see that Jew Rabbis remain under the impression that he is dead. Because these Jew priests were the real enemies of Jesus and not the Roman rulers.
