Amongst
many cults those sprang up after Roman Church hijacked Jesus'
teachings to carve out a brand new religion other experts in the
business of priesthood copied it and many more cults developed to
attract gullible masses to them. The business of Christian faith
began to flourish in many of its sects. All these cults nevertheless,
copied the story of Jesus as proposed by the Roman Catholic Church.
Therefore, the story of Jesus having been killed, on cross continued
through them.
Organizational
skill of Roman Church was its main
strength. Procedural methods were easily adopted from existing Jew
religion supported by erstwhile Roman religion with some
modifications. Other cults were simultaneously copying it and in this
way a more or less similar system of religious practice went on
developing in due time. Measure differences include method of last
rites to dead. During Roman religion dead were cremated but in new
religion the dead were entombed similar to Jews. Eucharist was taken
from existing Roman religion. Practice of confession to father in
church they introduced is not in accordance to the teachings of
Jesus. Mass praying in Church is not acceptable to Jesus as it is
given in Mathew 6:5-8,

Jesus told, “And
when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray
standing in the synagogues (Church) and on the street corners to be
seen by others. Truly, I tell you, they will have received none of
their reward in full.

Jesus continued, "But
when you pray, go
into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is
unseen. Then
yours Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Nobody else shall know that you prayed to your Father". Word
father is used by Jesus to refer to God or Almighty.

Jesus continued, And
when you pray do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think
they will be heard because of their many words.

Jesus continued, Do
not be like them, for your Father
knows what you need before you ask him.
Nevertheless,
the Church had been equipped with a brand new religion to promote
that they began to find faults in existing practices of their own
previous religion of Rome. That religion was polytheist. Whereas
Christianity believed in monotheism on the lines of Judaism and
therefore, many conflicts between Roman Catholic Church and other
cults we notice. We also notice in the known history that often Jew
priesthood tried to stop this hijacking by Roman Catholic Church but
they were systematically subdued. This shows more evidence of how
Church was gradually deviating from the true teachings of Jesus.
