Origin of Roman Catholic Church - 66

Continued from previous post –

Now we are watching if Church can really improve and instead of preaching Peter's religion move to preach real Christ teachings. So far, we observe that Church has been preaching the teachings of St. Peter while using name of Christ. Days are changing from all sides and now time has come for the Church to come to terms with the enlightened intellectuals. The number of such people is increasing over the period. The type of control Church had on masses is no more experienced. People have other option due to wide spread use of You Tube and Face book and other internet sites where they go and learn other ideologies and teachings of those ideologies. Church has to accept if it is indulging in wrong ideologies by its officers. Let us here, we see what some intellectuals want to say about Jesus who is the center of the subject.

There is dialogue on the subject if Jesus is a god or incarnation of God or he is just another prophet or just a saint? In this post, I want to show how other sites project Jesus by their differentiated viewpoints. The greatness of Jesus is in his personality but we actually do not know how he actually looked, then how to accept this claim? Nobody ever attempted to draw his picture as at that time these things were not in vogue. Therefore, what we have today is just some imaginary concept about how exactly he looked at all. Then, why people of Jerusalem were captivated by him? In those days, there was no so-called qualification to show one's credentials. Today, we see qualifications of person to accept his or her and then we bother to listen or read to him or her. What was capturing people around him? One surmise suggests that it was his capacity to perform miracles! Miracles keep attracting people even in these days of scientific revolution. So that possibility is one that we can accept for his popularity.

However, when we study what he was telling people it seems that the capacity to perform miracles was not the only thing that attracted people around him. His teachings were radically opposite what Jew priests were imposing upon Jews of then days. Therefore, we may say people were attracted to this unusual approach of Jesus, that he was actually challenging the authority of those powerful priests from the synagogues. In those days, there was no Church since it was invented by later period professional priest such as Peter who had even never seen Jesus!

Jesus did not know how to write, read and so what we have today is the writings of only one disciple St. Mathews. Mathews was a tax collector, he has provided all the teachings of Jesus that is considered as most authentic and today we work mostly on that material.
